Dogs; Lockdown and Separation after Lockdown?

A voice, clapping again?

“There are no books for getting your dog happy at the end of a pandemic," says Arianne Cohen in a recent Bloomberg article  (see link at bottom of page).

I am sharing a little bit about how Ember seemed affected by the changes surrounding the unfolding of  the Covid-19 Pandemic here in New York City.

At the very beginning of the lockdown Regal quarantined/isolated for three weeks in PA with Ember.    Ember had a ball, she loves the country where she learned to swim and gets to be a bit wilder and spends a lot of time outside.

Of Golf Balls, Family/Pets, Patience and Humor

Since we are talking about humor.......
My Mom's dog was not doing well a while ago; she is twelve years old.  Flora had fluid in her lungs, and was on heart medication, my mother understandably was very upset; I talked my mom across the Atlantic Ocean through some Dien Cham for Flora on the phone; I kept the instructions simple and had her repeat them back to me and give Flora a session while we were on the phone.

Introducing rescue Mowgli - basic protocol

Mowgli is a Lab/Rottweiler mix (lab-rotti). I have learned that animals get stressed just like humans although I think they are better in bouncing back. The first week with Mowgli was trying; then he got it; he pooped - outside. Perhaps I was not aware of MFM's chapter on Dien Cham for animals then or perhaps I was too stressed to remember; would this time have been less hellish if I had started working on him immediately?
